Dear Thomas...

I think... just possibly, I owe you an apology. I stopped at the end of the first sentence of your second paragraph in “Lies Are Unbekoming’s” post (https://unbekoming.substack.com/p/the-marxification-of-education-by)... but you see, when someone says “I am a Marxist” I see Red. A different shade of Red perhaps, but Red, none-the-less... Then I read the rest of your comment, what you’ve been through at the hands of The Academy.. a more atrocious meatgrinder would be hard to imagine. But really.. the garbage you have to endure, the gauntlet you have to run, to obtain and retain an academic chair? It just ain’t worth the candle.

Two personal stories.. September 1993, just after I moved in with my girlfriend who became my wife, she sponsored her parents from China who lived in the apartment with us.. I was having trouble with my previous roommate, “Lily”, who let it be known she was going to the police over issues... My eventual mother-in-law learned of this and had a total meltdown.. The stress she had experienced during the Cultural Revolution had resulted in a massive stroke at 45, she was paralyzed and speechless for 3 months, but when she somewhat recovered, her medical career was over. I had to comfort her with “Chi-bin: This is not China. This is Canada. You are safe here. Lily can’t hurt you! — ‘Ne ting de dong ma’?” I finished off in my almost non-existent Chinese.. she understood...

Meanwhile you speak of “Woke”, the genocide in Palestine, Tony Fraudci, the murder of John Lennon, cultural appropriation, intersectionality, critical theory, critical race theory, transgenderism; latterly the Covid Scamdemic and “Climate change” — all this is Marxism. I understand you don’t want it to be that: You want it to be what it pretends to be; this noble crusade for the liberation and rights of Humanity. But it isn’t. Deceit, dissimulation and mass murder are Marxism’s stock-in-trade; it is nothing but an elaborate fraud cooked up by the Rothschild Crime Syndicate. Thus my anger.

The second story happened much, much earlier.. about 1985 after wasting 6 years in university majoring in music, I somehow managed to score a gig as a musician. One of very few graduates from my university who managed it. Nothing amazing, it was a job in one of the Canadian Armed Forces’ military bands. I applied at University of Calgary for their Masters in Music Performance Program; they requested letters of reference.. so I asked 2 of my professors and my instructor for same – and the two-faced backstabbing shits each sent letters not recommending me! And that was that... And, thanks to a drunken Master Warrant Officer’s relentless malicious whisper campaign two years later I was kicked out of the military on about the lowest honorable release category they could find, and since then? About 40 years of dead-end shit-jobs, temp work, unemployment insurance and welfare. It’s not been much fun. But in the end, my discharge card was of far more value to me than my degree ever was, and I’m now supporting a wife, our cat, and her vaccine-injured daughter on a security guard’s wages. I got that job, courtesy of my discharge card...

So there’s my story for you. Please accept my apologies for what I wrote earlier, and I hope things get better for you.

Best,

Capt. Roy Harkness

Dear Roy, Thank y ou for your apology and your sympathy. However, of course, I strongly disagree with your statement that "“Woke”, the genocide in Palestine, Tony Fraudci, the murder of John Lennon, cultural appropriation, intersectionality, critical theory, critical race theory, transgenderism; latterly the Covid Scamdemic and “Climate change” — all this is Marxism."

Please provide any evidence that Karl Marx or Friedrich Engels ever supported or ever would support any of this. As I write in this article, there is a strong link of this to Blanquist totalitarianism. But Marx and Engels opposed Blanqui's totalitarian ideas, and argued instead for the creation of a democratic social republic, with full rights for all, a multiparty pluralistic society. What does "woke" have to do with any of that? As for my "conspiracy theories" about Fauci and the CIA, what was the virtue that Marx taught his children to be paramount? "Doubt". What does the blind faith that Centrist liberals now hold in the medical pharmaceutical establishment have to do with Marxism, which teaches a profound distrust in ALL bourgeois institutions? The two have nothing to do with each other. Check your own petite bourgeois privilege and mentality, for the reason as to why you are connecting them. You don't want to give them up to the workers. You want to keep your privileges--just like Blanqui, and Lenin! You're guilty of the same thing!

Sorry I took so long to reply, your note arrived on my alternate login which I only rarely use..

"Please provide any evidence that Karl Marx or Friedrich Engels ever supported or ever would support any of this"? Have you never heard of "The Frankfort School", "Cultural Marxism" and "Post-Modernism"? Jordan Peterson does an excellent lecture on the topic here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLoG9zBvvLQ&t=271s

James Lindsay does a series on Youtube; "New Discourses" that deconstructs leftist thinking quite thoroughly... https://www.youtube.com/@newdiscourses

Yes, I've heard of them. I note that I asked you a question about Marx and Engels. You replied discussing three groups of 20th century thinkers, who not only were not Marx and Engels, and never met them, but two of them also attacked their basic ideas, While Cultural Marxism and Post-Modernism are both authoritarian petite-bourgeois ideologies, the work of the Frankfurt School was anti-authoritarian. With the sponsorship of the American Jewish Committee, Adorno and others wrote a definitive study, entitled The Authoritarian Personality. But even the Frankfurt School, due to their acceptance of the legacy of Central European intellectual "cultural pessimism", became pessimistic about the chances for the working class to become revolutionary. Marx and Engels would have rejected this.

While Jordan Petersen and James Lindsay occasionally have important things to say, they are both chronic anti-communists, and I do not see them as offering some kind of palliative for my investment in Marxist thought. They are heavily involved, as you seem to be, in the illogic of a smear campaign.

These characters, Lindsay and Petersen, are motivated primarily by their petite-bourgeois loathing for working class empowerment. Thus they invent smear campaigns, based on the pessimistic, cynical, elitist, and divisive doctrines of intellectual movements STYLING themselves "Marxist", but do not accept the basic tenets of Marxism as Marx, Engels, Luxemburg, Levi put forward.

The basic tenets, relevant to the medical freedom movement, are as follows:

I. Like any other historical, class bound mode of production (or even tribal society, which was not class-bound, class exploitative) capitalism has its own Achilles Heel, its inner contradiction, leading to crisis. That is primarily centered on the tendency for the rate of profit to fall. Pre-Marxist bourgeois economists understood that it does. But Marx was unique in postulating that this fall is due to the rising organic composition of capital. another contradiction is the immiseration and alienation of the workers and their expansion, as middle class people fall into the working class. But these tendencies are greatly exacerbated by the crises created by the central contradiction.

II. These contradictions are the bases for the present Great Reset, transhumanism, the vaccine mandates, the kill shots, et alia, as David A. Hughes, Ted Reese, and Kees van der Pijl (all genuine Marxists, not the fake Cultural Marxist variety)

III. Only the working class, led by a vanguard party of socialist intellectuals and advanced workers, can rectify this situation, by rising up and overthrowing capitalism and the capitalist class.

IV. Not only the vanguard party must be democratic in its internal organization--which Lenin accepted, and actually helped to pioneer. The vanguard party, once it leads the working class to power, must create a radically democratic, multi party, pluralistic society.

Now let's skip the previous Petersen-Lindsay negative hagigraphy (aka demonology), and talk about these tenets. Refute them, if you can!

What an eye-glazer. Admittedly I've never heard of the neo-Blanquists before and now that I have, I wish I hadn't. The writings of these ass-clowns and your analysis is about on a par with this:
